Good Evening Hockey Fans! Tonight your LA Kings start their first back to back series of this season as they take on the Calgary Flames. The start time for the game will be a 6:00 PM PST and 7:00 PM MST. The Kings played their first game last Saturday night as they took on the Edmonton Oilers and lost 6-5. The Kings are still looking for their first win of the new season. Kings defenseman Drew Doughty and Flames defenseman Matthew Takchuk have heated rivalry between the two. In practice the Kings have been paring Sean Walker and Ben Hutton together which makes a really good line combination as a third defensive paring.
The Flames are coming off a 3-0 victory over the Vancouver Canucks this past Saturday night, former King forward Millan Lucic is playing his first game in the Kings-Flames rivalry and here’s what he had to say about being part of the rivalry, “It’s always good that I had such good relationships with
people in LA, especially that I was only there for one year. It was a great year for me personally, and I’m still in touch with a lot of people within that organization. But I’ve always said, once you hit the ice and the puck drops, you forget about those personal relationships and you play to win. So that’s the mindset as far as that goes when the game starts”.
