1st Period analysis

2nd Period analysis
Both teams had quick transitions into the offensive zone. The Kings have good breakout attempts into the offensive zone. Ryan Reaves made a good hit on Sean Walker. Jonathan Quick has made some good saves so far in the period. Vegas has had some good chances on goal mid way through the period. The Knights have more momentum in the offensive zone and good shots. The Kings have had some good chances in the offensive zone but still couldn’t score. The Kings take a penalty but Jonathan Quick have been making some good saves on the penalty kill. The Golden Knights scored again on the powerplay and Paul Stastny scored again. Jonathan Quick made a good save and then Alex Iafallo had a counterattack but couldn’t score on a breakaway.

3rd Period analysis
The Kings get a goal as Dustin Brown finishes off a nice pass from Anze Kopitar to make it a 2-4 game, but 17 seconds later Vegas scored to make it 5-2. Vegas has had more zone time and possession and continued momentum that they had in the 2nd period into the 3rd. The Kings have been jamming at the net but have not been able to get the puck in. The Kings get another powerplay and have not been able to get a goal on the powerplay all game long.
