2019-20 Regular Season Game 4 Nashville Predators Vs LA Kings

1st Period analysis
Both teams have had some good chances early on in the period. Dustin Brown gets the first shot of the game. The Kings have been in the offensive zone early and have created some good chances. The predators got an early goal after missing the net and they used the boards their advantage as Mikeal Grundland scored a goal top shelf on Jack Campbell to give them a 1-0 lead. The Kings get a powerplay and have made some good chances on goal. Micheal Amadio had a good chance near the left side of the net but could not bury home a rebound and the Kings powerplay could not get the job done. The Kings forecheck has been great but they have missed the net. Sean Walker took a tight angle shot and the shot was tipped by Ilya Kolvalcuk and Micheal Amadio slotted home the rebound to tie the game at 1-1. The Kings have been firing shots in the offensive zone and have been winning the loose puck battles. The Kings have spent the most zone time in the offensive zone. Dustin Brown takes the puck down the ice coast to coast and the splits two Predators defenseman and then makes a sweet backhand to Anze Kopitar who goes top shelf and gives the Kings a 2-1 lead. The Kings have been putting on the pressure the whole period. Matt Roy makes a great defensive play by taking down a predators player. Ilya Kolvalcuk takes a penalty late in the period. The Kings killed off the penalty and held the Predators to little zone time. Anze Kopitar lays a huge check on Mattias Ekholm. 

1st Period Goals
At 4:55 the Predators scored to make it a 1-0 lead early on in the game. The goal was scored by number 64 Mikeal Grundland, the goal was his (1st of the game and 2nd of the season). Then at 8:47 the Kings tied the game up at 1-1. The goal was scored by number 10 Micheal Amadio, the goal was his (1st of the game and 2nd of the season). At 11:14 the Kings took a 2-1 lead. The goal was scored by number 11 Anze Kopitar, the goal was his (1st of the game and 2nd of the season).

2nd Period analysis
Nashville is getting some early chances in the first few minutes of the period the Kings have also been doing the same. The Kings have outshot Nashville 16 to 5. Both teams have been moving the puck well. The Kings have been shooting a lot from the side of the goal in the corner to try and get rebounds. The Kings have had lots of zone time midway through the period and they have also have had a great forecheck in the period. The Kings get a shot from to slot as Joakim Ryan fires a shot and the puck gets tipped by Kyle Clifford to make it 3-1. The Predators have made a lot of mistakes so far. The Kings have been battling in the corners and have been winning the puck possession. Kings take a penalty as Sean Walker goes to the box for tripping. The Kings have been cycling the puck well. The Kings get a powerplay once again. The Kings powerplay is killed off due to the Kings taking a penalty. The Preds had a brief powerplay but Jack Campbell makes a huge save. The Kings stripped the puck clean in the offensive zone as Micheal Amadio pass the puck to Ilya Kolvalcuk to make it 4-1. 

2nd Period Goals 
At 6:53 the Kings made it a 3-1 game. The goal was scored by number 13 Kyle Clifford, the goal was his (1st of the game and 2nd of the season). Then at 18:12 the Kings made it 4-1. The goal was scored by number 17 Ilya Kolvalcuk, the goal was his (1st of the game and 2nd of the season). 

2nd Period Penalties

3rd Period analysis
The Predators get a goal early on as a shot was trickled by Jack Campbell to score and make it a 2-4 game. Both teams have had some decent shots on goal early on in the period. The Kings have been playing a defensive style for this period to try to close out the game. Nashville has been gaining momentum and putting pressure in the Kings zone. The Kings take a penalty midway through the period. Jack Campbell makes a great save put Nashville puts the puck home on the powerplay after the amazing save from Campbell. The Kings let the Preds tie the game as the scored again right after getting the powerplay goal. Both teams were throwing good body checks towards the end of the game. The Kings threw the puck on net as Dustin Brown shot it and Alex Iafallo put home the puck to take the lead with 57 seconds to score!  The Kings scored two empty net goals to make it a 7-4 win. 

3rd period Goals 
At 1:18 the Preds made it a 2-4 game, the goal was scored by number 33 Victor Arvidsson. The goal was his (1st of the game and 2nd if the season). At 10:56 the Predators scored to make it 3-4. The goal was scored on the powerplay by number 95 Matt Duchene, the goal was his (1st of the game and 2nd of the season). Then at 11:30 the Preds scored to tie the game at 4-4. The goal was scored by number 10 Colton Sissons, the goal was his (1st of the game and season). At 19:02 the Kings scored to take the lead 5-4. The goal was scored by number 19 Alex Iafallo, the goal was his (1st of the game and season), then 22 seconds later the Kings made it 6-4. The goal was scored by number 23 Dustin Brown, the goal was his (1st of the game and 2nd of the season). Then 7 seconds later the Kings made it 7-4. The goal was scored by number 8 Drew Doughty, the goal was his (1st of the game and season).
