2019-20 Regular Season Postgame: Game 13 Vancouver Canucks Vs LA Kings

The Kings lose to the Vancouver Canucks 5-3. This is the fourth loss in a row for the Kings. The Kings took lots of penalties which cost them the game as Vancouver managed to get four goals on the powerplay.

2019-20 Regular Season Game 13 Vancouver Canucks Vs LA Kings

1st Period analysis
The Kings played well as they got a goal early in the period to take the lead. The Kings also managed to put lots of pressure in the Canucks zone, but took two penalties late in the period and gave up two quick goals. The Kings take a penalty late into the period so the Canucks will start the 2nd period with a powerplay.

1st Period Goals

2nd Period analysis
The Kings kill of the Canucks powerplay, the Kings get a good chance on net early in the period but could not put it in the back of the net. The Canucks were getting pressure in the offensive zone and had some decent shots on goal. Drew Doughty fires a hard slapshot and it hit Canucks defenseman Alex Edler in his midsection as he was helped off the ice. The Canucks have been getting more shots on net but Jonathan Quick stayed with the shots to keep the game at 2-1. The Kings get another powerplay midway through the period. The Kings get a tip from Adrian Kempe as the Kings tie up the game at 2-2. The Kings get another powerplay as Dustin Brown gets hooked in the offensive zone. The Kings could not get a goal on the powerplay this time around. The Kings make a bad line change and the Canucks capitalize on the breakaway to make it 3-2. The Kings get some good chances in front of the Canucks goal but could not tie the game up. The Kings get a penalty in the final minute of the period. 

2nd Period Goals
