2018-19 Regular Season Game 72 Winnipeg Jets Vs LA Kings

Good Evening Hockey Fans! This is game two of a five game homestand for your LA Kings as the Winnipeg Jets are in town. The Jets lead the Central Division and look to claim thier first ever division title in franchise history. Despite a really though season for the Kings it has allowed younger players like Matt Roy, Paul LaDue, Sean Walker, Carl Grundstrom, and Kurtis MacDermid to get aclimated to the style and pace of a NHL game. Here is what Kings defenseman Sean Walker had to say about the veteran players on the team and how they have helped out the younger guys on the team “Dion and Drew, are guys that have been around for a long time, they’re two really great guys, really upbeat guys and they make sure everybody is dialed in all the time. Just kind of follow them and go out there every day and work hard.”

In minor league news the Kings have signed forward Akil Thomas to an three year entry level contract with the team
