2018-19 Regular Season Game 69 LA Kings Vs Anaheim Ducks

Good Evening Hockey Fans! Tonight is the final game of the back to back set for the Kings as they take on cross county rivals the Anaheim Ducks. Both teams are 7th and 8th in the Western Conference. The Ducks have fried their head coach earlier this season and General Manager Bob Muarry has taken over as the head coaching job as well as being the GM. Anaheim forwards Max Jones, and Troy Terry have been doing well in thier rookie seasons as both players have posted a combined total of 12 points this season so far.

1st period analysis
The Kings played a solid period. Goals from Kyle Clifford, Carl Grundstrom and Dustin Brown scored to give the Kings three goals in the period. Both puck possession and zone time was even. Carl Grundstrom notched his 2nd professional goal as Tyler Toffolj made pass to Adrian Kempe who made a nice move into the offensive zone and made a nice pass to Grundstrom who decked out Ducks goalie Ryan Miller and put the puck home. Despite giving up a goal the Kings were playing good solid period.


At 6:22 the Kings made it a 1-0 game. The goal was scored by number 23 Dustin Brown, the goal was his (1st of the game and 17th of the season). Then at 7:27 the Ducks tied it up at 1-1. The goal was scored by number 11 Daniel Sprong, the goal was his (1st of the game and 11th of the season). At 10:37 the Kings regained the lead and made it a 2-1 game. The goal was scored by number 13 Kyle Clifford, the goal was his (1st of the game and 8th of the season). Then at 16:25 the Kings scored to make it a 3-1 game. The goal was scored by number 38 Carl Grundstrom, the goal was his (1st of the game and 2nd of the season)

2nd period analysis
The Kings defense has been superb tonight has through two period they have held the Ducks to only 10 shots on goal. The Kings are leading the Ducks in puck possession and attack time in the offensive zone.
