2018-19 Regular Season Game 68 LA Kings Vs Arizona Coyotes

Good Evening Kings Fans! Tonight marks the first game of a back to back set for your Kings as the team is in Glendale, Arizona to face the Yotes. The Coyotes are only three points back from the last Wild Card spot in the Western Conference, Arizona has won the last 7 of 8 games. Former Kings forward Brad Richardson who is now a member of the Coyotes is leading the team in goals with a total of 16. On February 28th Richardson netted four goals against the Vancouver Canucks. Arizona forward Clayton Keller leads the team in points. The Kings have sent forward Matt Luff down to the AHL. The Coyotes will be wearing their throwback jerseys tonight for "Kachina Saturday's". The style of the jersey is based on the design of a Aztec motif which is featured near the sleeves and waist of the jersey. The Coyotes wore this jersey from their first season in 1997-98 all the way up to the 2002-03 season, but the jersey was so popular with fans the team brought them back in 2015-16 and made it the full time alternate. Tonight will be Carl Grundstrom first game with the Kings and he will wear number 38.
