2018-19 Regular Season Game 31 LA Kings Vs Detroit Red Wings

Good evening Kings fans! Tonight your LA Kings start their four game mid-Atlantic road trip as tonight the Kings head into the Motor City to face the Detroit Red Wings one final time this regular season. The Kings are coming off a great game against the Vegas Golden Knights,  both Alex Martinez and Kyle Clifford were injuried in the last game so Austin Wagner and Paul LaDue will play tonight. Detroit forward Gustav Nyquist has had six points in the last three games (three goals and three assists).

2nd period analysis.


Bad defense leads to another early goal for Detroit. Red Wings maintaining the pressure and putting lots of shots on net. Kings getting chances off the faceoffs. Kings are playing with the puck in their own zone turning it over. Paul LaDye is struggling a little tonight. The Kings had a good rush in the Red Wings zone. Detroit getting chances late in the period. Detroit gets a goal off a Kings turnover
