2018-19 Regular Season Game 34 LA Kings Vs Pittsburgh Penguins

Good Evning Hockey Fans! Tonight the LA Kings finish up their four game Mid-Atlantic road trip as they head into the Keystone state to take on Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins. The Kings are still at the bottom of the leagues standings and will be for the remainder of the season due to how bad the team has been this season. Penguins forward Tanner Pearson will be facing his former team for the first time since he got traded to the team.

The Kings get a goal called back due to Nikita Scherbak being called offside. The Kings have taken a few penalties this period that have been bad penalties taken.

3rd period analysis.
Both teams are having attacking rushes early on. Drew Doughty firing a laser of a shot but gets robbed by Matt Murray. The Kings are having good puck movement into the offensive zone. Pittsburgh had a good offensive chance. Kings putting some pressure in the Pittsburgh zone. The Kings had a good passing set up on the power play and scored to tie the game up.the Penguins set up a good chance on goal. Kings battling in the Pittsburgh zone.

The game was tied at the end of regulation so the game went into OT. At 3:59 in overtime the Pens scored to win the game 4-3. The goal was scored by number 81 Phil Kessel, the goal was his (1st of the game and 14th of the season).
