2018-19 Regular Season Game 32 LA Kings Vs Buffalo Sabres

Good Evening Kings Fans! Tonight your LA Kings play their 2nd game of the Mid Atlantic road trip on the second game of a back to back from Buffalo, New York as the Kings take on the Sabre’s who have been red hot since the start of this season. Buffalo drafted 1st overall defenseman Rasmus Dahlin. Along with forward Jack Eichel the Sabres acquired forward Jeff Skinner this past offseason, and since the start of the season the team has been doing great. Sean Walker will play his first game this season for the Kings.

1st period analysis
Kings get an early penalty. Buffalo getting shots on early and end up getting a penalty as well, so 4 on 4 action early on. Both teams could not capitalize on the power play early. Kings using their speed into the Buffalo zone. Kings getting more shots on goal and putting some pressure in the Buffalo zone. Kings drive to the net and get a scrum near the goal and Anze Kopitar finds Jake Muzzin who slams the puck into the net on one knee to take the lead. Tyler Toffoli flying up the ice and getting a hard shot on net. Cal Petersen making good saves on Rasmus Dahlin. Jake Muzzin threw a big hit near the Kings bench. Kings battling it out with both as players were jostling for position. Kings turn over the puck which leads to a Sabres goal.

The Kings early on are having breakouts getting great scoring chances. Drew Doughty went back into the Kings locker room and is doubtful return with an upper body injury. Cal Petersen makes a tremendous save to keep the Kings lead in tact. Kings penalty kill has been doing extremely well tonight. Adrian Kempe attacked the net made a nice move and fired a powerful wrist shot in the net for a two goal Kings lead. Fast paced game near the end of the period.
