2018-19 Regular Season Game 60 LA Kings Vs Nashville Predators

Good Evening Hockey Fans! Tonight your LA Kings embark on a three game road trip to Nashville, Florida, and North Carolina.Tonight the Kings are in Nashville, Tennessee to take on the Nashville Predators. Sean Walker has joined the team on the trip and might play for tonight’s game. Carl Hagelin being traded out to the Washington Capitals before tonight's game. Jonny Broadzinski is returning to the lineup tonight after hurting his shoulder before the regular season.

1st period analysis
The Kings were putting pressure and getting shots on goal early on in the period. Nashville were also getting chances in the period as well. The Kings take a penalty midway through the period. The Preds scored off the powerplay as the Kings played bad defense which lead to the goal. The Kings had a great chance as Brendan Leipsic had a wide open net but Nashville goalie Pekka Rinne made great stop to prevent the Kings from tying the game. The Kings get a powerplay with under 6 minutes remaking and the Kings get another powerplay unsuccessful. Dion Phaneuf and Brian Boyle get in a fight late in the period. Both teams have had even puck possession towards the end of the period.

At 8:50 in the 1st period the Preds scored to make it 1-0. The goal was scored on the powerplay by number 8 Kyle Turris (1st of the game and 7th of the season),

The Kings get a shot from Dion Phaneuf fired a shot deflected off of Austin Wagner's skate and Michael Amadio banged the puck home to cut the Preds lead in half. The Kings have been generating chances towards the end of the period. Kings have outshot the Predators this period. The Kings can’t get a goal late and fall to the Preds 2-1.
