2018-19 Regular Season Game 22 Vancouver Canucks Vs LA Kings

Good evening hockey fans! Welcome to tonight’s hockey night in Los Angeles as the Vancouver Canucks come to town to battle your Los Angeles Kings. Vancouver comes into tonight’s game on a eight game losing streak. The Kings tonight as part of the team’s annual Legends Night will honor 2018 Hockey Hall Of Fame inductee Wille O’Ree. O’Ree was the first player in NHL history to break the color barrier when he played for the Boston Bruins in 1957. His playing career was only 2 years but he implanted the growth of the sport for all ethnicities to play. Kings forward Adrian Kempe suffered a lower body injury in the 7-3 loss to Colorado, but will play in tonight’s game. Goalitender Jonathan Quick has been practicing with the Kings and is very close to making his return.
