2018-19 Regular Season Game 20 LA Kings Vs St. Louis Blues


Good evening hockey fans! Your LA Kings are finishing their 3 game road trip of tonight by taking on the St. Louis Blues. Throughout this road trip the Kings have been scoring more and have played solid. Austin Wagner is back with this Kings after getting recalled from the Regin yesterday.

Kings have a good transition after a great save from Petersen. Kings throwing checks early in the period. The Kings have been getting momentum to take control of the game. Kings are control the puck well. Kings won a faceoff turned into a 2 on 1 break which leads to a goal for the Kings. Good defensive pressure from the Kings when the Blues were in on the attack. Kings are registering more shots on goal late in the period.

At 19:30 in the 3rd period the Kings iced the game by scoring an empty net an getting a 2-0 shutout. The goal was scored by number 11 Anze Kopitar, the goal was his (1st if the game and 6th of the season).

3rd period analysis
Kings getting in the shooting lines to block shots. Kings forcing shots on target early on in the period. Good transitions into the offensive zone, as well as good forecheck.
