LA Kings Quarter Season Update

The Kings are coming off a 0 and 3 Eastern Canadian road trip. If the team keeps playing like they have been, key players such as Tyler Toffoli and Alec Martinez could be traded for younger talent or the Kings could trade them for draft picks at the upcoming draft. The team also should be calling up players from the Ontario Reign such as Jaret Anderson-Dolan, Kale Clauge. Both Anderson-Dolan and Clauge have been playing well with the Regin this season. On a positive note defensman Sean Walker Kurtis MacDermid have been playing solid as MacDermid has been racking up more ice time in the past few games which is good for individual stats, where as Walker has been keeping the puck in the offensive zone and pinching on the blue line when the defense tries to clear the puck out of the zone. From an offensive stand point the Kings have averaged a total of 0.324 points per game. The Kings come back home for a 3 game homestand. Head coach Todd McLellan has been mixing up the lines a lot which hasn’t worked out for the team.
