1st Period analysis
The Kings had a good chance in the opening minute as Jeff Carter ripped a hard shot on net. Tyler Toffoli skated to the right corner in the Chicago zone, as Toffoli passed it to Kyle Clifford who skated in from the top of the slot and picked the puck up and scored it top shelf to make it 1-0. Then two minutes later Matt Roy walked into the Hawks zone and ripped one right pas Corey Crawford to make it 2-0 on,y 5 minutes into the game. After the goal was scored the Blackhawks made a goalie substation as Robin Lenher came into the game. The Kings also got their first power play of the night but could not get a goal off of it. The Kings take an Interference penalty and the Hawks scored on thier powerplay right off the bat, as the Hawks get a wide open net as Drew Doughty and Alec Martinez were focused on the man in front. Corey Crawford is placers back in the game due to him being ok to play after taking a shot in the face. Jack Campbell made some insane saves on some good chances from the Hawks. Jack Campbell gets the puck poke checked away from him after he gives the puck up and the Hawks score. The Kings will get a powerplay into the second period.

Chicago pulls Corey Crawford with 2:58 remaining in the period. The Hawks tie the game with the goalie pulled as Jonathan Towes fires home the puck to tie it at 3-3. The game was sent into overtime after the goal was scored.
