2019-20 Regular Season Game 21 LA Kings Vs Arizona Coyotes

1st Period analysis

Arizona strikes first early as the Coyotes get a goal via a tip in from Conor Garland. Arizona has momentum Throughout the first 10 minutes of the period. The Coyotes have been in the offensive zone and have been firing shots on net. The Coyotes have been flying down the ice into the offensive zone with lots of speed, and also stick checking the puck from the Kings on the defensive blue line. The Kings are getting chances on net but mostly are one and done type of shifts. The Kings are getting momentum in the offensive zone as Sean Walker and Nikolai Prohorkin had some great shot opportunities. The Kings take the first penalty of the game midway through the period and Arizona capitalizes on it. Derek Stepan shot the puck as it was in the air. The Kings take another penalty late in the period. The Kings manage to kill off the penalty.

The Kings came out this period with tons of speed. The Kings have continued the pressure that they sustained from the end of the first period. The Kings get their first power play of the game. Arizona had a great breakaway attempt short handed but Jack Campbell makes a great save. The Coyotes had numerous chances but Campbell stood tall. The Kings get another penalty in the game. Arizona scores another powerplay goal as the go 2 for 3 on the powerplay so far. The Kings get another penalty, but manage to kill it off. The Kings go back on the powerplay. The Kings get another powerplay that will transfer into the 3rd period. 

2nd Period Goals

The Kings are generating some good shots early in the period. Both teams were pushing to get goal halfway through the period. The Kings had their best chance of the game as Sean Walker had a breakaway but could not score. Things get a little chippy as both teams were chirping each other after a stoppage of play.
