The LA Kings started off a two game road trip as they took on the Nashville Predators at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville TN the first game of the road trip.
The Kings got on the board about halfway through the first period as Anze Kopitar banked home a rebound of the back pads of Predators goalie Jusse Saros.
Early on both teams had some good chances in the 2nd period but neither team was able to get a goal throughout it.
Just 35 seconds in the Kings grabbed their second goal of the game as forward Kevin Fiala walked down the right side in the offensive zone and ripped home the shot on his backhand.
The Kings put home an empty net goal with about 3 minutes left to seal the win off by a score of 3-0, as Adrian Kempe grabbed his 5th goal of the season.
The Kings next game will be tomorrow night as they take on the Minnesota Wild from the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul Minnesota.
