On November 28th 2015 the LA Kings
faced the Chicago Blackhawks in a big rivalry game at Staples Center in
downtown LA. The Kings were down by two goals after the first 2 periods. Just
as the third period started the Kings scored to make it a 2-1 game. The goal
was scored by number 77 Jeff Carter. He scored
52 seconds into the third period. And then with 5 minutes remaining in
the game THE KINGS TIED IT UP! The fans inside Staples Center were losing their
minds when the Kings scored to tie the game up at 2-2. That goal was scored by
number 12 Marian Gaborik. Then the game went into a 3 on 3 five minute
overtime. The whole arena was screaming standing up and chanting Go Kings Go
during the 2 minute timeout. With only two minutes into overtime... THE KINGS
SCORED TO WIN THE GAME. When the Kings scored the goal in overtime it felt like
the roof exploded off of Staples Center. And once again Marian Gaborik scored a
goal but this time he won the game and it was his 15th goal of the season.
Kings win 3-2 in OT.
