Kings Potential Draft Picks 2019

Hello Kings Fans, here are all of the potential prospects your Kings can draft for the 2019 NHL Draft. The first three players on the list all play for the United States National Team Development Program. First up is Alex Turcotte. Turcotte is a 5'11 Center, he scored 27 goals for the United States Development Program. The next player is Cole Caufield, Caufield is a 5'7 Right Wing he is slated to be in the top 5 for the draft. He posted 72 goals for the Development program. He said that he models his game after Chicago Blackhawks forward Alex DeBrincat. Caufield has a natural scoring ability that could help out the Kings if he is picked by them. The final player from the USNTDP is Trevor Zegras. Zegras is a 6'0 Center/Left Wing, he racked up 26 goals and 61 assists for the national team. His skating isn't the best but he can fire passes on to sticks while making a spin move, as well as knock the puck off opposing players sticks and has a good backhand shot.

The next player on the list is 17 year old Kirby Dach. Dach is a 6’4 Center and plays for the WHL’s Saskatoon Blades, he posted 25 goals and 48 points this past season. Like Caufield, Dach has the ability to shoot the puck, Dach’s top trait is his playmaking ability which could really help the Kings as he would fit in well with the teams system.

The final player on the potential players list is Bowen Byram. Bowen is a 6'0 Defenseman and plays for the WHL's Vancouver Giants. This past season Byram posted a total of 26 goals and 45 assists. He is slated to be in the top 3-5 in the draft. An article from the Denver Post said that Byram's skating, puck movement and management is insane, and is a gritty player.

Who will the Kings puck in the draft? Find out on June 21st for the First Round live on NBCSN and Sportsnet at 4PM PST/7PM EST.
