Personal Post Game Notes: After the Kings loss today and the game before this a 7-2 loss to the New York Islanders, the Kings have sucked. The way the team has played has been terrible, the Kings cannot find a way to score goals and it has become a problem with the team's play. They need to find a new system of play or fire the coach. I think the Kings need to bring some youth into the squad as it is mostly older players that have been playing.

Personal Thoughts on the Kings Front Office Management

The Kings need to make some changes in their front office. Head coach John Stevens was the associate head coach for the Kings, since 2012 he was the teams head coach last season. Since Stevens has taken over the head coaching position the Kings have been terrible. I personally think the Kings need to fire Stevens and bring in a new head coach that can switch up the style of hockey the Kings have been playing. The team needs to start playing with more speed and skill and having younger players come up and play with the team, as well as being a more speed team like most teams in the league play with. General Manager Rob Blake and President Luc Robitallie need to be gone as well. I personal think that the Kings need to blow up the front office along with the team. Having former players run the business side of things hasn't helped the Kings becasue they are still playing of hockey since 2012 and they need to move on with that. Feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section below.

New York Islanders Center Mathew Barzal has five points in his last five games, he should be the one to watch for in tonight’s game.
Here’s head coach John Stevens talking about the Kings starting the game off with an attacking mindset “Well, I think it’s important at home to get the puck moving up to the forward right away and establish your forecheck right away,” he said. “You want to play with pace, you want to see your team manage the puck really well and you want to see your team skating right away, and on top of that, we keep talk about pucks to the net.”

LA Kings recall forward Sheldon Rempal

Today your LA Kings called up forward Sheldon Rempal from the Ontario Regin after getting eight points with the Regin. This move will put the Kings at 23 skaters the maximu number of players for a team. Sheldon will try to help the team be able to score as the Kings have not been able to produce much scoring opportunities this season. Rempal doesn’t have a great shot but he has speed and that’s another attribute that this Kings team needs to have in order to have success. Rempal has scored four goals in his first three games with the Regin this season.

I think he’s a hockey player, and he looks like he gets more excited than he does nervous, and I think he’s excited about playing tonight,” “He’s a lot like Iafallo, to be honest with you. He’s got really good detail in his game, speed and quickness, he sees the ice really well. We just want to see him be a really consistent player out there that doesn’t have any peaks and valleys in his game. A little bit careful with him early, just because it’s a big step for him to take, but we’ve been really happy with his (training camp), and we certainly think he can help us. That’s why he’s here.”
