LA Kings Off Ice Update 4-1-16

Last night the Kings won a hard fought battle with the Calgary Flames. I think the Kings played a solid 60 minutes of hockey and played a good physical game. The Kings next game is against the Dallas Stars which will be a tough battle. Have a great rest of your day. Go Kings Go!

LA Kings Vs Calgary Flames 3-31-16

On March 31, 2016 the LA Kings faced the Calgary Flames at Staples Center in downtown LA. There were no goals in the 1st period, the Kings played a very well played period. 42 seconds in to the 2nd period the Kings scored to make it 1-0. The goal was scored by number (77) Jeff Carter, it was his (21st goal of the season). Then at 6:14 the Kings struck again and Staples Center erupted. The goal was scored by number (77) Jeff Carter, it was his (2nd goal of the game and 22nd goal of the season). At 12:38 in the 3rd period the Kings added a third goal and made it 3-0. The goal was scored by number (15) Andy Andreoff, it was his (6th goal of the season). The Kings extinguish the Flames 3-0.

LA Kings Off Ice Update 3-29-16/3-30-16

The Kings lost 5-2 over the San Jose Sharks last night, I think one of the main reasons why the lost was because they couldn't put the puck in the net even though they had lots of chances. Today the Kings have a day off and the will have a practice tomorrow schedule for 10;00 A.M. at Toyota Sports Center. LA Kings Vs San Jose Sharks 3-28-16

On March 28, 2016 the LA Kings faced the San Jose Sharks at the SAP Center at San Jose in San Jose, California. At 9:12 in the 1st period the Kings stunned the Sharks fans by scoring and making it 1-0. The goal was scored by number (44) Vincent Lecavlier, it was his (9th) goal of the season. LA Kings Off Ice Update 3-27-16

Last night the Kings had a very gritty game against the Edmonton Oilers and it was a much need win for the Kings last night after losing the three games before this one. Head coach Daryl Sutter called the game a "strange" in terms of all the goals being scored. The Kings have a optional practice at 12:00 PM before taking a short flight up to Northern California for a game against the San Jose Sharks on Monday night. Have a great rest off your day. On March 25, 2016 the LA Kings faced the Edmonton Oilers at Staples Center in downtown LA. On,y 16 seconds in the Kings scored and Staples Center exploded in cheers. The goal was scored by number (73) Tyler Toffoli, it was his (28th) goal of the season. The 38 seconds in the Oilers struck back to tie the game at 1-1. LA Kings Vs Winnipeg Jets 3-24-16

On March 24, 2016 the LA Kings faced the Winnipeg Jets at the MTS Center in Winnipeg,Manitoba Canada. There were no goals scored but the Kings got lot of chances in the period. The Kings played back to back games against the Nashville Predators and the Minnesota Wild on Monday and Tuesday night. The Kings lost both of those games. I think the Kings didn't play good at all on Monday but bounced back with a good performance last night. The next game is against Winnipeg Jets from the MTS Center in Winnipeg,Manitoba. The Kings dominated the whole game and the reason why the won was because if our goalie number (32) Jonathan Quick made some incredible saves and helped the Kings win. Kings win 5-0.

LA Kings Vs New Jersey Devils 3-12-16

On March 12th, 2016 the LA Kings faced the New Jersey Devils at Staples Center in downtown LA. The Devils scored at 1:12 in the first period and the crowd at Staples Center was stunned as the Kings gave up the first goal that early. The goal was scored by number (48) Tyler Kennedy it was his (3rd) goal of the season.i think the Kings have been playing ok in this first period. The Kings were buzzing all period long and they finally got there goal at 14:36 and Staples Center went absolutely nuts when the Kings scored to tie the game at 1-1. The goal was scored by number (11 and my favorite player) Anze Kopitar. That goal was his (21st) goal of the season. The Kings had a great second period because the keep shooting the puck at the net and finally got their goal. There were no goals scored in the third period. So the game went into overtime and at 4:44 the Devils scored to win the game. The goal was scored by number (2) John Moore it was his (4th) goal of the season. Kings lose 2-1 in OT.

Last night the Kings beat the Washington Capitals in a thrilling game. I think the Kings played a good first 2 periods and capped off the game with the game winning goal in Overtime. LA Kings Vs Washington Capitals 3-9-16

On March 9, 2016 the LA Kings played the Washington Capitals at Staples Center in downtown LA. It will be an emotional game for the Capitals number (14) Justin Williams and number (10) Mike Richards as they will face the Kings in LA for the first time since they played for the Kings last season. At 4:52 the Kings scored to make it 1-0 and the crowd went berserk. The goal was scored by number (44) Vincent Lecavalier. It was his  seventh goal of the season. Then 12:05 the Kings struck again and the crowd was going crazy again! The goal was scored by number (6) Jake Muzzin it was his eighth goal of the season. Then at 13:26 the Kings scored again to make it 3-0. The goal was scored by number (17)  Milian Lucic. It was his 12 of the season. The Kings played a great first period. There were no goals in the period but I think the Kings played a good period defensively. At 1:42 in the third period the Capitals scored to make it 3-1. The goal was scored by number (77) Tj Oshie. It was his 20th goal of the season. Then at 11:02 the Capitals scored again to make it 3-2 and Kings fans were beginning to worry. The goal was scored by number (19) Nicklas Backstrom. It was his 18th goal of the season. At 16:39 the Capitals tied the game up at 3-3 and deflated all of the Kings fans at Staples Center. The  goal was scored by number 9 Dmitry Orlov. It his ninth goal of the season. The Kings played a very bad third period,and that's why I think they blew the lead the game. LA Kings Vs Vancouver Canucks 3-7-16

On March 7,2016 the LA Kings faced the Vancouver Canucks at Staples Center in downtown LA. Despite either teams scoring the Kings had a amazing first period on the defensive side of the game and had lots of chances on the offensive to score but couldn't find the back of the net. On March 5th,2016 the LA Kings faced the Anaheim Ducks at Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. During the first 5 minutes there were multiple fights and a lot of players fighting. There were no goals in the first period but the was a lot action going on though. At 3:16 of the 2nd period the Ducks got on the board to make it 1-0. The goal was scored by number (17) Ryan Kesler. LA Kings off ice update 3-4-16

The Kings played an amazing game last night and I think they did a great job defensively. The Kings still hold the number 1 spot in the Pacific Division ,but tomorrow's game against the Anaheim Ducks (which will be played in LA tomorrow) will determine who gets first place in the division. Both teams have 80 points each and if the Kings win tomorrow the standings will remain the same. If the Ducks win they will be in first place while the Kings would be in second place.
