LA Kings resign Drew Doughty to 8 year contract deal

The LA Kings have extended defenseman Drew Doughty’s contract to eight years as he will be playing with the Kings from the 2018-19 season to the 2026-2027 season. If Doughty did not sign a contract this year he would have became a unrestricted free agent next season. Kings fans will be extremely pleased to have Drew for eight more years as his work ethic and outstanding scoring ability will continue with this organization.
